The 2023 faculty election is now underway! Earlier today, an email with a link to an individualized ballot was sent to each member of the voting faculty.

This year, we are electing a new Chair of the Faculty, and faculty are invited to meet the candidates, Tom Kelley (Law) and Beth Moracco (Public Health).

The Office of Faculty Governance is hosting an informal “Coffee with Candidates” in the Anne Queen Faculty Commons (located in the Campus Y) on Tuesday, April 4 from 3:00-4:15 p.m. You are welcome to drop in to meet the Chair of the Faculty candidates, ask them questions, learn more about the election, and have a cookie.

You can also learn more about the candidates for Chair of the Faculty by watching the video of their remarks to the March 24 meeting of the Faculty Council and General Faculty, or by perusing the 2023 faculty election voter guide.

The voter guide contains information about all of this year’s candidates for Faculty Council and our elected faculty governance committees. You are encouraged to take a moment to look at it, and to vote by midnight on April 12. We’ll post the results here on the Faculty Governance website shortly after the election.
