Chair of the Faculty Mimi Chapman is hosting a series of small discussions for faculty only to address issues described in the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) “Special Committee Report: Governance, Academic Freedom, and Institutional Racism in the University of North Carolina System” [PDF] and to brainstorm next steps.
Session dates are:
- Wed., 6/1 at 10:00 a.m. (Remote)
- Thu., 6/2 at 2:00 p.m. (In-person)
- Wed., 6/8 at 10:00 a.m. (Remote)
- Thu., 6/9 at 2:00 p.m. (Remote)
Registration is required and limited to 15 faculty per session. Registration closed on Friday, May 27.
Remote sessions will be held on Zoom. The in-person session will be held in the Anne Queen Faculty Commons located in the Campus Y at 180 E. Cameron St.
Faculty also have the option of submitting anonymous feedback in the form available at this link.
