Professor Jim Leloudis, History, and Cecelia Moore, university historian, have produced a digital exhibit on the history of the Confederate monument, its meaning for the men and women who erected it, and its relationship to the core values of today’s university. They believe that the details of that history should be shared with the broadest possible audience as discussion of the disposition of the monument continues. The site was first published in early 2018 and has been updated with new research.
