Carolina Closet is a student organization at UNC that collects donated business casual and business professional attire and distributes them to graduate and undergraduate students and staff on UNC’s campus. They are gathering donations of new or gently worn clothing, shoes and accessories (ties, bags, jewelry, etc.) to stock our closet before our grand opening in January 2018.
Donations are currently accepted at the Anne Queen Faculty Commons in the Campus Y building through November 21 in the bin marked “Carolina Closet Donations.” Faculty and staff can swipe in with their OneCards to donate Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. A second drop-off location is available at the Housing Office in the basement of Avery Residence Hall. They will accept donations Mondays through Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. until further notice. At this time, donations are not tax deductible.
