The Committee on Honorary Degrees and Special Awards invites your nominations for the Edward Kidder Graham Faculty Service Award to be presented at the October 12, 2014, University Day ceremony. This award was established in 2010 to recognize outstanding service by a member of the Voting Faculty of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The award calls to remembrance President Graham’s ambition to “to make the campus co‐extensive with the boundaries of the State,” in the context of the University’s modern mission to extend knowledge‐based service world‐wide.

Any active member of the Voting Faculty is eligible, including those who are participating in the phased-retirement program.  Awards are not conferred in absentia.

For more information about the award, including specific directions on submitting a nomination online, visit the Edward Kidder Graham Award webpage.

Deadline: November 15, 2013. [Extended to November 20, 2013.]
