The Faculty Council and General Faculty will meet on Friday, September 13, 2013 from 3-5 pm in the Pleasants Room at the Wilson Library. Please note the new location. All faculty are welcome to come early at 2:30pm for beverages and light snacks.
This week’s agenda includes first remarks from Chancellor Carol Folt as well as recognition of the winners of the Hettleman Prizes for Artistic and Scholarly Achievement by Young Faculty. Chair of the Faculty Jan Boxill will address the Council and respond to questions. A full hour of the Council meeting will be devoted to discussions related to athletics, including the Rawlings Panel report and the upcoming Thursday night football game.
