Additional Information About the Job

The Office of Faculty Governance (OFG) shares a joint responsibility with the Campus Y staff for managing the Anne Queen Faculty Commons in the Campus Y building. We are looking for a reliable & organized student to help maintain the space and its furnishings, answer questions from faculty and other groups that are scheduled to use the room, provide help with events set up and ensure that organizations comply with room use policies. The OFG also expects the Events Assistant to help with the set up and cleanup of eight faculty council meetings per year (one per month) on Friday afternoon from 2pm-5:30pm. While this position reports to and is supervised by the Office of Faculty Governance staff, the majority of the student’s time will be spent in the Campus Y building.
