Faculty Council will meet this coming Friday, January 11th, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm in the Hitchcock Room of the Sonja Haynes Stone Center. All faculty members are invited to attend.
The meeting agenda and all related materials are now posted here. There are several pressing concerns this Friday, perhaps none more so than the just-released draft of the UNC system strategic plan. We have linked to the plan and some other related documents from the agenda, and Jan will lead a discussion about this on Friday. Rachel Willis will be there to provide an update from the Faculty Advisory Committee to the strategic plan. Council members also please note that there are three resolutions and an award nomination on tap for votes on Friday.
