At the Sept. 7 Faculty Council meeting, members adopted a resolution in support of retaining UNC-Chapel Hill’s policy of meeting 100% of student financial need by setting aside tuition revenue to subsidize financial aid for low income students. The Board of Governors has recently adopted a new financial aid policy that allows each university to determine how much tuition revenue they will set aside.
