Emma Cromwell, Executive Assistant

Emma joined the Office of Faculty Governance in August 2021. She is the first point of contact for the chair of the faculty and secretary of the faculty, and also manages the office’s budget, human resources and space management needs. Helena Knego, University Program Specialist

Helena serves as the communications and programming lead for Faculty Governance. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Minnesota. Helena can be reached at (919) 962-2146 or knego@unc.edu.

Kadejah Murray, University Program Associate

Kadejah joined Faculty Governance as an undergraduate work-study student and became a permanent staff member shortly after earning a bachelor’s degree in sociology and women’s and gender studies in 2017. As a student at Carolina, she served as an intern for the Carolina Population Center and the Southern Oral History Program. As a Moxie Scholar, she also interned at the Pauli Murray Project located at Duke University’s Franklin Humanities Institute.

Kadejah is currently responsible for committee scheduling assistance, records management, ensuring open meetings compliance and assisting the university program specialist with Faculty Council and committee logistics. She can be reached at (919) 962-1671 or kadejahm@email.unc.edu.
