Chair of the Faculty Jan Boxill has announced that, in light of today’s events surrounding the announcement of the new chancellor, the Faculty Council and General Faculty meeting set for today has been POSTPONED until Friday, April 26, 2013. It will be held that day at the usual time, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. We will post an announcement soon about the location.
Meanwhile, we invite all faculty to join the campus community at the reception welcoming the Chancellor-Elect this afternoon at 4 p.m. in the FedEx Global Education Center, located at 301 Pittsboro Street.
